KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A western Missouri family is grieving after a 3-year-old girl died as she fell from a moving truck Sunday afternoon.
Just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday, emergency crews were called to Southeast 900 Road in Johnson County, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Isabelle Failer was riding in a 1998 Dodge 3500 when she fell out of the truck. An trailer attached to the truck ran over Failer as the truck was pulling forward.
She died at the scene.
