UPDATE: AUGUST 8 2 p.m.: The family of the girl found walking near 38th & Benton has been located, and she is safe.
EARLIER | A girl 2- 3 years old was found wandering near East 38th Street and Benton Boulevard, and police now are searching for her parents.
The girl was found after noon on Saturday, and has short black hair, and was wearing a pink dress.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Missing Person's Unit at 816 234-5136.
