KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Goodwill came together with multiple groups on Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri, to hold a community health fair.

COVID-19 testing, job search resources and access to masks were provided at Manual Career Tech Center on East Truman Road.

Goodwill partnered with the likes of Heart to Heart International, the Urban League and Spectrum for the event. Laura Ritterbush, chief mission officer of Goodwill of Eastern Missouri and Western Kansas, said such partnerships important amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"The more community partners that come together, the better opportunities for people to be served in every way that they need to have assistance during this time,” Ritterbush said.

Goodwill also offers a text line for those who can’t attend events in person. Anyone who needs assistance can text 816-842-7425.
