KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Grain Valley man is dead following a crash Sunday morning in Jackson County, Missouri.
Around 9:28 a.m., Brian Burton, 62, was driving off the roadway on northbound Missouri Highway 291 to Missouri Highway 210 when he hit a sign and his vehicle overturned, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash log.
A Jackson County medical examiner pronounced Burton dead at the scene.
Burton was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash log.
