UPDATE, 2/10: The Grain Valley Police Department said a man wanted on a felony warrant was located and arrested Wednesday.

A news release from the Grain Valley Police Department said Michael P. Snider, 36, was arrested at a residence near Gravois Mills, Mo., by the Morgan County Sheriff's Department.

Grain Valley police said Snider was located as the direct result of an anonymous call received by the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline.

Both the Grain Valley Police Department and the Morgan County Sheriff's Department are continuing to investigate other potential charges.

A news release in November 2015 from the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline said Snider was wanted on a felony warrant issued in June 2015 in Jackson County, Mo., charging Snider with kidnapping and domestic violence assault.

The Grain Valley Police Department asked for help to locate Snider.

The news release states Snider was also being sought as a person of interest in another kidnapping that occurred in Grain Valley in November 2015.

A news release from Crime Stoppers stated there was up to a $2,000 reward available for information leading to his arrest.
