GRANDVIEW, Mo. — All lanes of southbound Interstate 49 in Grandview are currently closed due to a traffic crash.
Grandview police responded to a crash, which involved a semi tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles, around 3:45 p.m. near the Main Street exit.
Injuries were minor, but the crash investigation and removal of disabled vehicles has created a massive backup along I-49.
The Missouri department of Transportation announced shortly before 4:20 p.m. that the right lane had reopened, allowing a slow stream of traffic to get by once again.
All lanes reopened a short time later.
