A Grandview man is dead after being hit by a truck in Daviess County, Missouri.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday morning.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Darwin Alberto Chavez Cardoza was walking southbound on the shoulder of I-35 from a vehicle improperly parked partially in the driving lane. A semi-truck collided with the vehicle, then with Chavez Cardoza before striking a guardrail and overturning.
Chavez Chardoza was pronounced dead at the scene.
No word on whether or not the driver of the semi-truck suffered any injuries.
