KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Guadalupe Centers, Inc. High School boys soccer team won the Missouri state championship in St. Louis on Saturday.
This was the team's first state tournament appearance. The team defeated four-time state champions Saint Louis Priory School.
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas said his congratulations in a post on Facebook, saying, "I'll have to train with them next year to pick my game up. Well done!"
