LENEXA, Kan. — Heart to Heart International is heading to the Florida Panhandle Thursday to assist in Hurricane Michael relief efforts.
Organizers said the team will provide medical supplies from their mobile medical unit and roughly 450 hygiene kits for victims in Hurricane Michael’s path.
The hygiene kits contain basics such as toothpaste, soap and hand sanitizer, among other items for people who may have lost everything.
A disaster response team of around 13 people hit the road at 6 a.m.
