KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There might be some things that go bump in the night tonight.
The National Weather Service has included all of the Kansas City area in a high wind warning from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Sustained west winds ranging from 25 to 35 miles per hour are possible, with gusts as high as 60 miles per hour.
Winds at those speeds could cause damage to branches and trees and leave some without power.
Travel will also be difficult in high-profile vehicles.
The windstorm is part of a series of weather patterns moving across the country this week. The 41 Action News meteorologists detailed what’s behind the systems in Tuesday’s weather blog.
