KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Just days away from Thanksgiving, holiday travel is picking up across the country. But if you're traveling Tuesday morning, your flight may be delayed.

It’s because of a snow storm that canceled more than 450 flights from Denver International Airport.

In Kansas City, there’s been a few morning cancellations to Denver because of that major snow storm.

Denver expects to get a foot of snow over the next two days. That storm heads to Minneapolis, Minnesota, after that.

Traveler Beth Rose isn’t heading to Denver, but understands the frustrations.

“When you are dealing with construction on the highway and you get here and you find out your flight's canceled, what are you gonna do?” Rose asked. “Are you gonna spend the night in the airport? Hotel? So your cost goes up, your frustration, not being able to see your family, it’s all very frustrating.”

Be sure to check your airline directly for any cancellations or delays. Depending on which airline, you can rebook or receive travel vouchers at no extra cost.
