KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Independence police are attempting to identify human remains that were found Saturday night.
According to police, the deceased person was found around 11 p.m. in a wooded area in the 2400 block of South Maywood Avenue.
Investigators are still trying to identify the person and determine what caused their death.
