KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Despite a state-wide social distancing order in Missouri, crowds packed some bars and restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend.

Video posted on social media shows a crammed pool where people were less than six feet apart and not wearing masks. The stay-at-home order expired earlier this month and the state is currently under Phase 1 of its reopening, which includes an order from the state health director requiring people to keep at least six feet apart until at least the end of May.

Visitors did tell us that many businesses in Lake of the Ozarks are following social distancing rules.

It's not known at this time what steps Lake of the Ozarks area health officials are taking to enforce the order.
