I-35 NB closed at Sante Fe after a semi overturned, driver killed early Wednesday morning

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An overturned semi shut down I-35 Northbound at Sante Fe in Olathe early Wednesday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol was called to the scene about 2:30 a.m. on a reported single vehicle crash.

The semi driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi is blocking several lanes of traffic.

Motorists headed northbound on I-35 can exit at Sante Fe.

So far, there's no word on what caused the crash or any injuries.
