KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Both sides of I-435 near 96th Street are back open after a cattle truck overturned on the highway.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the cattle trailer driver was not hurt in the wreck. Ninety cattle were inside the hauler at the time of the wreck. All the cattle that escaped were rounded up, according to KC Scout.
Crews worked throughout the afternoon to clear the wreck and secure the livestock. Both sides of I-435 weren't back open until nearly 8 p.m.
