KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A person was seriously hurt after being hit by a vehicle on I-49.
Kansas City police closed I-49 NB at I-470 for a couple hours around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning, due to the crash near Red Bridge Road.
Authorities say the driver of an SUV as walking on the highway after a crash with a car, when another vehicle struck him. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the car that hit him was also transported to the hospital. His injuries were non-life threatening.
