KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A semi crash shut down eastbound Interstate 70 at Broadway early Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just before 6:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered a semi hauling produce was on it's side.
The crash was reported as an injury accident.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate remained shut down while crews were the scene and cleanup got underway.
Motorists were encouraged to avoid the area.
