ORIGINAL STORY | Independence police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 86-year-old man.
William O. Jackson Jr. was last seen around 9 p.m. Sunday at 120 South Willis Ave.
Jackson, who has dementia, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black Kansas City Chiefs hat, a flannel shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. Jackson also had a cane.
Police said he left on foot "with an unknown direction of travel or destination."
