KANSAS CITY, Mo.  — UPDATE, 11 a.m. Monday | Independence police said family has made contact with Brandy Furr and she is no longer a missing person.

ORIGINAL | Independence police have requested the public’s help in locating a missing 22-year-old woman.

Brandy R. Furr was last seen Monday at her grandmother’s home in the 22800 block of East 42nd Terrace South in Independence.

Police and family consider Furr missing and endangered, because she has no cell phone, no known vehicle and hasn’t made contact with friends or family, which is out of character for her, according to a news release from the Independence Police Department.

Furr is 5-feet-4 and 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911, local police of Independence PD at 816-836-3600.
