KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Independence, Missouri, are searching for a man wanted on a felony warrant for child molestation.
Austin R. Sternberg, 26, has a felony warrant in Jackson County for child molestation of a child less than 12 years old and attempted child molestation of a child less than 12 years old.
He is described by police as 5-feet-7 and 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Sternberg is armed and he has been involved in several assaults in the past.
