KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Iranian-American Community of Kansas City will stand in solidarity Sunday with the people in Iran.
The group will hold a demonstration at the J.C. Nichols fountain from 2-4 p.m. to bring more attention to the unrest in Iran.
At least 106 protesters in 21 different cities of Iran have been killed, according to reports from Amnesty International.
The Iranian government shut down internet for more than 150 hours, limiting citizens' ability to contact anyone outside of the country.
