KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The annual Jewish Community Center indoor Triathlon got off to a fast start Sunday morning.
New this year, youth, as young as age 10 are invited to participate, along with all athletes from beginner to experienced.
The annual event at the J in Overland Park encourages residents to participate and lead a fit lifestyle.
Triathletes choose various distances in the indoor swimming pool, bike on stationary bikes, then run around the indoor track.
A timer follows each athlete, and medals will be awarded to all finishers, and the top three athletes in each division will receive gift certificates.
