KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Johnson County Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Olathe and Mission will be closed on Mondays.
The change, which begins Sept. 14, will give staff more time to process drop off titles, which began being allowed due to COVID-19.
The department said a backlog occurred after offices closed for 33 days in the spring.
It’s not known at this time when the offices will resume Monday hours.
The closure does not affect the issuance of driver's licenses.
