Missing KCK man found in Bates County, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE: Just before 8:45 a.m., police said Rose had been located in Bates County, Missouri.

PREVIOUS: Kansas City, Kansas, police are searching for missing elderly man.

Eighty-year-old Lyle Rose, who has Parkinson's, was last seen at his home in the area of 134th and Polfer in KCK, police said.

They also said Rose had a recent surgery and may need medical attention.

He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 175 pounds, and is bald with brown eyes.

Police said he left in a 2015 tan Toyota Camry, with Kansas license plates 751-JAH.

Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts should call police.
