Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department working structure fire near 26th, Prospect

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department is working on a structure fire near East 26th Street and Prospect Avenue.

Fire crews arrived at 2548 Prospect Ave. just after 6:50 p.m.

Officials said that after an initial interior attack, KCFD companies got out of the structure and are now fighting the fire defensively.
