KCMO standoff over, one man in custody

Kansas City police said one man is in custody after a standoff on Wednesday.

Police said around 8:30 a.m., officers were called to the 4200 block of College on an outside disturbance with someone armed with a knife.

Police said when officers arrived, the armed person responded inside of a residence.

At 2:30 p.m., the suspect exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Police said he will be booked for assault and arson.
