KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are working to figure out who killed a man in the area of 117th Street and Food Lane.
Police were called to the area on a reported shooting just before midnight on Thursday, April 16.
While on the way, officers located a vehicle said to be involved in the incident.
They located the vehicle a few blocks from the original scene.
They found a man in the vehicle who was shot. He was given first aid and was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Police later identified the victim as Torrence Martez, 19. No arrests have been made.
