Hey, this is Kansas City! It’s never too early for barbecue!

We spent the morning at Q39 with owner Rob Magee.

There isn’t a bad reason to be at Q39, but we were there for a great one: Kansas City Restaurant Week.

It kicks off on Friday and runs for ten days, featuring more than 100 terrific eateries in the metro. You can grab a lunch for $15 or a multi-course dinner for $33.

Not only is it a real deal for your wallet and your taste buds, but it is also a delicious way to support local charities like Boys Grow, which operates farms maintained by male youth, ages 13-16.

As for Q39, Rob Magee showed off just a hint of what the KC Restaurant Week menu will offer. Watch the video above to see the tasty options.

Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Help yourself to some of Kansas City’s best culinary creations and help others at the same time. That’s the perfect recipe.

See other participating restaurants on KC Restaurant Week’s website.
