Not only is the Kansas City Streetcar bringing new jobs and another tourism attraction, but it's also bringing a new development.
"I visited this area a while back and knew this area had the potential for new properties," said Scott Richardson, the developer for Linden Street Partner.
Along the streetcar route you'll soon find new residential apartments. The complex, which used to just be an empty parking lot, is now known as 1914 Main Street in Kansas City. Construction is underway on a the five-story apartment complex. The apartment complex will also feature local shops inside its space.
The development is expected to be open by March 1.
