Jan. 2 was the last act for the popular Record Bar in Westport--at least for now. The music venue's landlord opted not to renew its lease.

Fans of the live music venue hope it will strike up the band again soon. And, owners say they are on the hunt for a new location. Current neighbors in a Westport shopping plaza include Westlake Ace Hardware, Half-Price Books and Dollar Store.
Record Bar has been rocking since 2005, hosting acts large and small--from Mumford and Sons to local and regional bands.
Also popular were its Sunday "Bartender’s Breakfast & Bloody Mary Buffet," with live music.
