The Roasterie announced phase one of expansion and new amenities coming to its facility off Southwest Boulevard.

The expansion will also make way for an airplane-themed theater, where visitors can learn about the company's history and the roasting process.
Baked in Kansas City already supplies The Roasterie with pastries, but they'll partner up to open an 800-square-foot bakery inside the coffee shop.
Phase one will be complete in spring 2017.
The second phase is an overhaul of the cafe and retail area.
The 23-year-old company says the expansion will give customers the ultimate coffee experience.
