Mud closes parts of WB Interstate 70 in Kansas City, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two lanes of westbound Interstate 70 were closed briefly Wednesday in Kansas City, Kansas, as crews cleaned up a mud spill.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said a dump truck lost its load of dirt, prompting cleanup.

Video from the KC Scout network showed troopers on scene just west of Interstate 635 helping to direct traffic. As of 12:30 p.m., a street sweeper was working to clean the mud off the highway.

The area was cleared before 1:30 p.m.
