Kara Kopetsky's family will host a walk this Sunday to mark the five-year anniversary since she disappeared
Kopetsky's mother Rhonda Beckford doesn't want her daughter to be forgotten. She hopes keeping her story in the media will lead to more tips.
"Nobody likes to think of their child in that situation," Beckford said. "If she were returned to us alive, I would consider that a miracle."
The 5-Year Walk for Kara is May 6th at 2 p.m. at the Cedar Tree Square Shopping Center in Belton.
