KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, firefighters are battling an overnight house fire on Elmwood Avenue.
Crews were called to the 3100 block of Elmwood Avenue shortly before 3 a.m.
Arriving crews reported heavy fire from a single story home.
A short time later firefighters pulled out of the home and fought the blaze from a defensive posture due to the structural integrity of the home.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
