KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man and two others were arrested on drug and other charges in Hoyt, Kansas, Friday night.
Hoyt Police Chief Dan Wentling said at about 8:30 Friday night an officer stopped a Ford F-150 for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, officers located items believed to be narcotics.
The driver, Jack T. Moore, 55 of Kansas City was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, speeding and no proof of insurance.
Passengers Stephen W. Oswalt, 32, of Atchison and Donald E. Harvey, 28, of Willis, Kansas, were also charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Oswalt and Harvey were subsequently charged with allegedly entering contraband into a correctional facility.
