KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas Citians are gathered at the Berkley Riverfront to celebrate the opening of the new KC Streetcar riverfront extension.
KC Streetcar Executive Director Tom Gerend opened the event before offering the podium to several speakers.
The group eventually boarded a KC Streetcar wrapped with KC Current livery - the Current play in CPKC Stadium, a short walk from the new Kansas City Riverfront Station - for the first official trip north from the Riverfront.
