KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Missouri, woman was killed Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Missouri 58 in Johnson County, Missouri.
Amanda R. Sanders, 26, died shortly before 4:30 p.m. when she was ejected from her 1997 Chrysler after it left the road at a high rate of speed, overturned several times and struck several trees approximately a mile south of Southwest 200th Road.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash logreport, a passenger in the vehicle — Danial E. Vanartsdalen, 36, also of Kansas City — was transported by LifeFlight to Research Medical Center in serious condition.
Sanders and Vanartsdalen were not wearing seat belts, according to the crash report.
