Olathe teen found dead in KCK, deemed suspicious

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police officers are investigating a death in the 1100 block of South 12th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.

Officers were called to the scene about 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

KCK Police Chief Terry Zeigler said the circumstances of the death are unknown at this time.

The person is believed to have been dead for a couple days before it was reported to police.

Olathe Police later identified the deceased person as 17-year-old Jasmine Mills of Olathe.

Mills was reported missing on June 28 and last seen on June 27.

Olathe and KCK Police are investigating the death.
