KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a deadly crash that happened May 9.
According to police, the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. in the 100 block of South 78th Street.
A vehicle that was headed south left the roadway and landed in a wooded area.
The female driver was the only person in the vehicle and was killed in the crash.
She was identified as 46-year-old Kristal Jenkins.
The crash is under investigation.
