UPDATE, MAY 29, 10 a.m. | Kansas City, Kansas, police have identified the victim of Tuesday's homicide as 38-year-old Sheldon Moten.

Officers were called to the 2200 block of Normandy Lane just after 5 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male in the street.
A person of interest was taken into custody a short time later.
