KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE: August 4, 9 a.m. | The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department has identified the victim as Jaden Blake Nixon, 21, of independence, Mo. The case remains under investigation.
ORIGINAL STORY | Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a fatal crash near Hutton Road and Hollingsworth Road from overnight.
Police were called around 1 a.m. to the area of Hutton Road and Hollingsworth Road.
When they arrived, police say they found a vehicle on fire.
The driver died on the scene.
Police say there was no one else in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
