UPDATE May 21, 8:30 a.m. — Kansas City, Kansas, police said Mackey has been found and is safe.
PREVIOUS — The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is asking for help finding a 12-year-old boy last seen Thursday morning.
Deonty Mackey was last seen around 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Troup Avenue, police said. He was wearing a dark blue shirt, khaki pants and white basketball shoes.
Deonty is 4 feet 10 and weighs 82 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
