KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Rosedale Middle School science students are getting an assist from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Steven Brown, who works for the EPA, brought more than a half-dozen air-quality monitors Monday to the school in Kansas City, Kansas.

Students will use them test outdoor air quality as part of STEM projects.

"They're champing at the bit to get out there most of the time, so this is a great opportunity to get out there, stretch their legs and do all the wonderful things we can do outside,” Rosedale science teacher Chris Clemmons said.
