KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The job market is the strongest it's been in decades, according to the most recent U.S. jobs report.

On Monday, CarMax announced that it will open a new customer experience center in July in Olathe, Kansas, and the company needs to hire 300 customer experience consultants, assistants and managers.

Manpower, an employment agency in Kansas City, Missouri, offered some advice for job seekers trying to land a new job at CarMax or another company.

According to Manpower, these are the top three things job seekers should do when interviewing for a position:

1. Come to an interview prepared with a resume;
2. Dress professionally; and
3. Be on time.

Deidra Faulkner, a recruiter at Manpower, said it's important to prepare for the interview.

"Do a little bit of research on the company, you know, whether it's with an agency like ours or a company that's hiring directly," Faulkner said. "If you know a little bit about them and can explain the company and give them a little perk that you found out about it, they're going to love it."

According to Manpower recruiters, here are the top three things a potential employee should not do:

1. Do now show up in sweatpants;
2. Don't miss your appointment and call later trying to explain;
3. Do not use foul language.

"Foul language can get you disqualified from a job and taking your kids to an interview is probably not the best thing," Faulkner said.
