KANSAS CITY, Mo. — According to the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, a man was found shot to death about 6 p.m. on Thursday in the southeast part of town.
The man was found in a grassy area at the East Hills Village Apartments near East 77th Street and Monroe Avenue, police said.
He's been identified as 22-year-old Andre Tolan.
Detectives were canvassing the area for witnesses and KCPD is asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Unit at 816-234-5043 or the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
Friday afternoon, Capt. Dave Jackson said three suspects had been taken into custody.
No information about charges was available at the time.
