A child has been seriously injured after being struck by a school bus in Kansas City, Missouri.
Officials say a little girl around the age of seven was running towards the school bus and the driver didn't see her.
According to authorities, the child's injuries are serious but not life-threatening. A firefighter on scene says her injuries were more than likely a broken arm and a lot of road rash.
The incident took place in a residential neighborhood near 77th and Trail Ridge Drive Thursday morning.
The girl is expected to be OK.
