KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man driving drunk on Westport Road missed his turn onto Main Street, lost control and crashed into a business front just before 3 a.m., according to police.
The man drove his a truck through the glass storefront of Just Say Cash, a short-term loan company located on the east side of Main Street just across from its intersection with Westport Road.
Authorities did not provide the identity of the driver or indicate if anyone else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Police took the driver into custody on suspicion of DUI.
There were no reported injuries in the incident, and there was no immediate damage estimate for the business.
