KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sources within the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department confirmed to 41 Action News KCPD computers shut down unexpectedly Friday morning, leaving dispatchers and patrol officers temporarily without some equipment.

It did not effect the 911 system and calls were still being answered.
