KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police investigated a serious injury crash Sunday night in Kansas City, Missouri.
Police responded around 8:30 p.m. to the crash at Northeast Cookingham Drive and North Woodland Avenue.
Accident investigators said a blue Chevy Cruze was traveling west on Cookingham Drive and a white Acura traveling south on Woodland Avenue failed to stop at the intersection. The Chevy hit the Acura and the Acura flipped. Both vehicles ended up in a deep ditch at the intersection.
The driver of the Chevy was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The back seat passenger of the Acura was ejected during the crash. All three occupants of the Acura were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
