Missing man with dementia found safe

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE: Kansas City, Missouri, police said at 9:06 p.m. that Dennis Lefmann was found safe.

PREVIOUS: Kansas City, Missouri, police are asking for help to find a missing 64-year-old man with dementia who left a bus station and has not been seen since.

Dennis Lefmann was last seen leaving the Greyhound bus station at 1101 Troost Avenue around 1:45 p.m. Sunday. He was traveling from Iowa to Arkansas by bus when he went missing in Kansas City, police said.

Lefmann suffers from dementia. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.
